Hi! We're Lacy and Dennis Gabor.
As travelers, adventurers, and nature lovers, we dreamed of building a peaceful space where guests could pause, breathe deeply, and feel fully present. That dream came to life in the summer of 2024 with the launch of Restore Haus.
The land of the sky
We fell in love with Asheville while living in Charlotte — drawn in by its creative energy, mountain views, and vibrant culture. We knew this was the perfect place to create something meaningful: a retreat where others could experience both the wild beauty and restful stillness that this area offers.
We built Restore Haus as a space to slow down and reconnect.
